Curation

My curatorial practice is guided by the belief that music programming can create meaningful connections between artistic expression and the world around us. I seek out points of relevance between music, contemporary concerns, visual art exhibitions, and historical milestones, including composers’ centennials. My work encompasses program development, artist relations, and program note writing, bringing together performers, audiences, venues, and organizations through thoughtfully curated music programs.

At the Milton Resnick and Pat Passlof Foundation, I organize music programs in dialogue with the Foundation’s exhibitions and mission. Recent projects include concerts commemorating the centennials of Morton Feldman in 2026 and Pierre Boulez & Luciano Berio in 2025, as well as performances conceived in response to the Foundation’s exhibition “How Asian Is It?” curated by Lily Wei.

In 2020, I launched the Park Avenue Pianos Musician Relief Concerts, a livestream concert series that connected musicians with audiences and brought live performance into people’s homes during a period of isolation. Initially created to provide performance opportunities and financial relief for musicians, the series evolved into a platform through which artists could direct donations to causes of their choice. Selected livestreams have been featured on Yahoo Taiwan and NBC Bay Area.
